Missing specific audio from PC

For some reason the audio on my PC doesn't work when it comes to anyone speaking. All of my system sounds work but if I open discord or any video/ movie I cant hear what's being said by a person. Music and sound effects work but sometimes is crackly or muffled. I've tried different inputs, different headsets, Ive gone through all of my audio drivers. I've checked the enhancements tab in my audio settings and made sure none of them are activated. Please help me
