I have installed my gpu (3070) into my PC and also switched my power supply (650w)

 

It has not turned on while the gpu is in but turns on when It isn't in.I have the 8 pin to 12 pin adapter that came with the card and it isn't turning on. Can anyone help please

I have the cable plugged into the plug btw

 

Need help asap

What are the rest of your specs, including the make and model of the PSU? Needed for help.

CPU:ryzen 7 2700x 

Ram:gskill  aegis 2x8gb 3200 ddr4

MB:Asrock b450 fatality gaming k4

We have checked them and have looked at the manual and it says that for the power consumption of a 3070 I would have to use VGA 1 and 2 but the card only powers through the adapter which is only 8 pin and to connect vga 1 and 2 ID need 12 pins

I see, you had the wrong cable plugged in.
