I swapped out the motherboard CPU and memory but when i turn it on every fan spins gpu cpu and case. I even have RGB ram and it also lights up. But display says it has no input.

I am testing this with a dedicated GPU as i dont have IGPU. I also plugged in my mouse and keyboard they light up and caps lock and the other leds also work.

I searched every other forum for help but it looks like i will have to take it to a repair shop as the culprit seems to be that the bios is corrupted or smth to do with the bios.

At first i thought it was the cpu and got scared but i left it on for like 3 min and the cpu fan ramped up so that works.

The display just wont recognize its been pluged in. checked every cable done a csmos reset i dont realy know to flash the bios so that it posts to dedicated gpu as i think its trying to post on the igpu

System specs

MB-ASUS prime H410M-K

CPU-i5-10400f

RAM-HyperX RGB black 2666 mhz

GPU-RX 580

PSU-corsair CV550

Do you hav the monitor plugged into the dedicated GPU? And make sure the Monitor is set to the right input.

If capslock etc work, it should be aat least booted into the bios.

yes i have a old monitor as i am still waiting for a new one it has vga i plugged it in the gpu nothing put on hdmi addapter also nothing so dont realy know what else to try.

The RX 580 dont have VGA output afaik, only DP, HDMI and DVI. So do you mean DVI or are you trying to plug into the motherboard VGA output?

It will not do that if there are no IGPU.

Do you still have the old mobo and cpu available? If so, try to test the GP with that just to ensure its working

If you want me to answer, please use the quote function or tag me. I dont get notified unless you do

I know for a fact that some old VGA monitors will not show a display even with an HDMI adapter.  I just went through last week when I built a new streaming computer with a Comet Lake Pentium Gold G6600.  I have a very old 18 inch Sony VGA monitor that I use for setting up new builds.  I never had an issue using it with the HDMI adapter until now.  The screen just stays black (this happens if you try to use Intel 630 graphics on the CPU or a separate GPU as I tried both).  If you have a TV with an HDMI port plug your PC into that and you should get video; this is what worked for me and it went to BIOS just fine and I used this to intstall Windows.  I was scrubbing an old Kaby Lake build and installing a fresh copy of Windows and the Sony + HDMI adapter worked just fine.  This was not an issue that I wanted to further trouble shoot so I just moved on.

Give the TV a try if you can.

Workstation PC Specs: CPU - i7 8700K; MoBo - ASUS TUF Z390; RAM - 32GB Crucial; GPU - Gigabyte RTX 1660 Super; PSU - SeaSonic Focus GX 650; Storage - 500GB Samsung EVO, 3x2TB WD HDD;  Case - Fractal Designs R6; OS - Win10
