Hello guys, I have some question regarding recovery partition, so I got a laptop from my brother with Windows 8 preinstalled, I would like to install Windows 7 on this laptop because of some programs that i use daily is not working under Windows 8, I like Windows 8 though, planning to use Windows 8 again after the program I'm using is supported on Windows 8, so I'm wondering if I can make a backup of factory recovery partition as a iso or or to boot into a dvd?

I know that it is possible to make a copy of it to a usb drive, but I don't have any USB drive atm, and wont be able to buy one till next week :( Thank you in advance.

Type in "Restore" in the system search, then run recovery drive. Hit next, then there should be a blue link that says "create a system repair disc...". This will let you restore Windows 8.

Do you want to know what grinds my gears?
