first proper build i want to last for a while

Budget (including currency): buying parts over the next many months slowly no set budget but im not gonna wanna spend much more than 1000$ canadian on a GPU

Country: canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: basically gaming

Other details : basically the case in the list is already ordered, that wont change, i got my old reliable mouse & keyboard,

Im planning out this build and most likely wont be completed for a good 6 months of spreading out parts purchases. ive already ordered the case and like the look of it:  https://www.newegg.ca/white-thermaltake-view-71-tempered-glass-snow-edition-atx-full-tower/p/N82E16811133377?Item=N82E16811133377

im in need of guidance on the rest of the internal parts more or less and i dont know what graphics card to look for and will probably be the last peice of the puzzle. upgrading form what im using now, found an old office computer and slapped aN RX 570 4GB GPU and some led fans in it to feel fancy (its pretty decent with Forza Horizon 4 with minimal framerate issues) i plsn on this build to last a good few years without having to upgrade for new games down the road

i need guidance, heres the build list ive put together on newegg :: https://newegg.io/a9a6a32

Photos of current disaster (doesnt look too bad tho)

Well... 6 months means you have chances to actually get a GPU at MSRP. What I suggest is to get one and then work the rest of the system from there. That's because it's by far the hardest part to get (and that isn't expected to change soon), so when you have one you'll build the rest pretty quickly.

So, I suggest to try to get something like a RTX 3070 or a RX 6800/6700XT or so and work from there when you do.
