gsync, gsync compatible, gsync ultimate explanation

HI everyone,

 

Just wondering because I'm getting an ACER PREDATOR x34gs, it says it is GSYNC compatible. What does this mean exactly? can it run gsync or not, and i've read somewhere that on a "gsync compatible" display you cannot use HDR and gsync at the same time... Does anyone have this monitor and can clarify?
