Major issues since Bios update

Hi

I'm running an AMD 3600, 32 Gig RAM, RX 6800, 970 Evo Plus on an ROG Strix B450-F Gaming mother board.  It had been running solidly since I built it.  However I updated the bios for the MB in anticipation of installing a Ryzen 9 5950X.  The bios installed and the computer ran fine for 4-5 hours, then I just started getting blue screens constantly, every 5-10 minutes.  I tried to do a Windows 10 repair but couldn't, I tried to go to a restore point but Windows refused to do this.  Finally I did a full reinstall of Windows, but this had NOT fixed the problem.  I am at a complete loss as to what to do.  Some of the errors I get are;

IRQL_not_equal_or_less
Kernal_Security_Check_Failure
System_Service_Exception
System_Thread_Exception_Not_handled
Kmode_Exception_Not_Handled
Unexpected_Kernal_mode_Trap

Your PC needs to be repaired, the operating system couldn't be loaded because a critical system driver is missing or contains errors

I tried reinstalling Windows again, it only got worse.  It blue screen twice before making it to desk top, and again on desk top before I could do anything.  I couldn't open Edge to browse for resolutions to my problems or install a better browser.  Half the Windows Updates would not install.  I'm guessing it is not Windows that is the issue.  I'm guessing it is the Bios update that has screwed my motherboard.  That is the only thing I can think off.

I'm currently running off an old back up of windows (1803) that I have on a hybrid drive.  It's slow but a lot more stable that trying to run it off my M.2.  It has also blue screened a few times.

Dumb question, but you went back into the BIOS and checked your settings after the update right? Many times updates will wipe out / default your BIOS. Which will give your OS fits.
