I'm experiencing stutter/lag when I'm playing games and I don't know why.

This happens especially in one of my favorite games Sea of Thieves.

I've tried to mess around with settings in the the Nvidia Control Panel, using G-sync on my FreeSync monitors,

tried Adaptive Sync, VSync, Fast Sync and capped FPS and more, and I don't know why I'm experiencing this issue.

Playing games on other people's gaming rigs seems far more smooth and I wish I could have the same experience on my own rig.

Anything I can try? I know there's very little to go from here, but maybe someone knows what might cause the issue?

All my monitors are set to 1080p and I play games as well in 1080p.
