Budget (including currency): 650-700

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Valorant ultra settings, cyberpunk tweaked for my 5700xt. These are the two ranges of games I play at 1440p

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I have a 2700 on a b450 Aorus elite v2 that I bought black friday right after ryzen 3000 launch and paid 167 Canadian dollars for my chip to go with an msi 5700xt I picked up for 440 Canadian dollars. I'm very lucky I decided to go 5700xt to get me through til I thought 6800xt but with the prices being so high and availability so low I'm forced to wait probably until next generation. However it's time for a cpu upgrade, ideally I would like to go 5900x but here in Canada (southwestern Ontario) if you can get one retail it's 799.99 The 5800x is 609.99 and the 3900x is 639.99. After seeing benchmarks for gaming and productivity I don't see any reason to go with the 3900x (unless they drop $200 if I decide not to buy a 5800x this weekend and still waiting to upgrade black friday or boxing day later this year) so really the only option I see is the 5800x. I create content freelance on fiver but my demand isn't one of a full time YouTuber or tech reviewer, mostly audio and after effects work. I have a 28 inch 2k 144hz monitor and a 1080 p 24 inch 75hz both Samsung. I prefer to play on ultra settings games like valorant and triple a games I play with settings tweaked for the best performance and quality for my 5700xt all while running from 3 to 10 tabs and streaming occasionally. I guess the dark horse option would be the 5600x at 439.99, I'm worried that the hit to productivity even with 32 gigs of 3600mhz ram will have me regretting my decision and I know I should never upgrade backwards from ryzen 7 to 5. Advice?
