Hi Everyone,

I am putting together my first ever PC build and I would very much appreciate some insight on the RAM. I bought 4 x 8 GB sticks of the RAM mentioned above, with the sticks packaged in sets of two. As they are the same brand and model, does it matter which slots they go into on the motherboard? or would it be best to match them according to packaging and serial numbers?

If all the 4 sticks are the same make and model, just put them one by one in the 4 slots of the motherboard.

Attention is what makes life meaningful.

Also, please quote me for a reply. 🙂
