Good day!

First post on the "Socks n Sandals" forum!

So to get right into it, looking to do a desk build, me and my wife both enjoy gaming.

Looking to upgrade her rig and figured why not go with a desk build to clean it up and bit, I had the thought why not just do a "2 Gamers 1 CPU Desk Version".

So my question, we've each got a 3060 in our current builds, but would the PCIe lanes of a 5950x be sufficient for such a build? or would I have to start looking at Threadripper to solve this issue?

The fact that the lanes are pcie 4.0 means that you can allocate half the lanes and get full bandwith, meaning you would have enough lanes.
