Motherboard Code Error

I found an old motherboard in my garage with the CPU and CPU Cooler still on it. It is a ASUS Rampage IV Extreme with a i7-4930k. When I initially powered it on, it worked great and booted. Now I am only getting a 00 error code on the motherboard. I know it means something is wrong with the CPU but it has worked in the past and I don't know why there would be a sudden decision to not work.

 

Would anyone be able to help me with this? Thanks for the help.
