I just upgraded my pc yesterday from a i5 7400 to a 10700k and warzone keeps crashing whenever I change settings. I even tried running it in safe mode but that didn't help too. It doesn't even crash in game because it crashes in the menu and I can't even get into a game without crashing. I reinstalled the game. Checked the drivers (the drivers were up to date) and reinstalled them.Idk what seems to be the problem. Even when I had the 7400 it kept doing the same thing. Any suggestions?

I've had similar issues with other games, Fallout 4 (on Game Pass) being the most frustrating.

The only thing that solved it for me was putting the game onto my SSS rather than my HDD.

Admittedly, it shouldn't actually make a difference - and I know it's annoying  - but do you have enough space (or can you make enough) to try and put Warzone onto your SSD?

Like I said, it shouldn't need to be on there to run, but it's something to try and if it works then it's worth the hassle.

Other than that, are you sure you don't have anything related to your new CPU that could be causing a crash every time?

Seems a coincidence, no?

I'm not savvy enough to offer specifics, unfortunately, but it does seem possible given the sudden nature of your issue.

What about any other programmes running in the background that the game might misconstrue as a hack or something?

You also said temps are fine?

Does it just crash to desktop or is there an in game error message upon close?  if you get the game error box, searching those codes might help you narrow it down.

are you on the latest chipset driver and bios update for your system?

The past 2 weeks ive had crashing issues where the in game error message would say to upgrade my graphics drivers.....turns out it was the lastest drivers from 03/30 causing my issue and when i rolled back to 461.92 it solved my problems.  Mine was crashing mid game, then it started doing it just cycling through menus.

AMD Ryzen 9 5900x | Gigabyte Aorus Master x570s | Corsair Dominator Platinum (4 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 | GeForce RTX 3080 VISION OC 10G | Lian iO1Dyamic | EVGA SuperNOVA P2 1000W | Acer Predator X34 P | Acer XB271HU | NZXT Kraken Z73

I have the latest drivers and bios. And when my game crashes theres a text box that says ,,Directx failed something something"(it doesn't actually say something something, I just can't remember) and ,, check readme for help" I never found readme

I can't download the game on my ssd because the ssd it's only 120 gbs and I only have 45,6 gb left free. A friend told me that the emptyer the ssd is the better the pc runs. And yes, temps are fine. I never reached full load but max temps were 62 C.

I know it's a ridiculous download size, so I understand.

I'm not sure if that "emptier the SSD is the better" part is true, as I think it's designed to work when full otherwise it wouldn't be much use - but I may be wrong on that one.

I'll take that with the drivers update you have also updated DirectX? If you haven't already, do it. Try running FurMark and see what happens.

| Ryzen 7 5800X3D | Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 Rev 7| AsRock X570 Steel Legend |

| 4x16GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo 4000MHz CL16 | Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6900 XT | Seasonic Focus GX-1000|

| 512GB A-Data XPG Spectrix S40G RGB | 2TB A-Data SX8200 Pro| Phanteks Eclipse G500A |
