Budget (including currency): 2k-2.4k aud

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming (Want an up gradable build)

Other details: Want to be able to play most games at around 100fps. Is a Z590 mother board and a 750W power supply needed for upgradability. Would also like to maybe decrease the price to around 2100aud while maintaining similar performance.
Thanks.

if you want an up gradable build i would go ryzen (also better in Gamingand and workloads then Intel) and a better air cooler (Deepcool ASSASSIN III Amazon.com: Deep Cool Assassin III Luft-CPU-Kühler, 7 Heatpipes, zwei 140 mm Lüfter, 54 mm RAM, 280 W TDP, neue Sinter Heatpipe-Technologie: Computers & Accessories its better then Noctua) or go water cooling

Firstly, to answer your questions, Z590 board is not necessary for 10-gen Intel processor. Regarding the 750W PSU, it depends to what you want to upgrade later on. If you want to get a RTX 3080, then yes, it would be a nice to have.

Secondly, that NZXT H510 is a terrible case. Yeah it looks good, but the airflow in it is horrible. Especially if you have an open cooler card that dumps all of the heat inside the case, it will quickly become like an oven. Please do consider a case that has actual openings for the intake fans. The Fractal Meshify 2 is a pretty good case in that regard. The Corsair 4000d Airflow is also great. Cooler Master have some nice options as well.

I also recommend getting a more higher capacity HDD for your Steam Library. Games today are quite large. 1TB is not going to be enough if you lake having more than 4-5 games installed at the same time. Just as an example, if you have CoD Black Ops, Modern Warfare and Warzone installed with the high-res textures that is about 350-400GB.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 - 3900x @ 4.4GHz with a Custom Loop | MBO: ASUS Crosshair VI Extreme | RAM: 4x4GB Apacer 2666MHz overclocked to 3933MHz with OCZ Reaper HPC Heatsinks | GPU: PowerColor Red Devil 6900XT | SSDs: Intel 660P 512GB SSD and Intel 660P 1TB SSD | HDD: 2x WD Black 6TB and Seagate Backup Plus 8TB External Drive | PSU: Corsair RM1000i | Case: Cooler Master C700P Black Edition | Build Log: here
