Budget (including currency):

     - $1200 (preferred, can go a bit over if needed)

Country:

     - United States of America

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:

Gaming in general at 1080p, some video editing,

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I don't have any existing parts

I have a keyboard and mouse (just need to buy a monitor which is why I have a $1200)

     upgrading from a laptop

I'm going to buy this summer (hopefully prices for gpus will go down by then)

1080p 240 fps for csgo and other fps games, 1080p 100+ fps for most other games (like destiny 2, horizon zero dawn, etc.)

planning on getting the AW2521HF (maybe with a second monitor later down the line)

upgrading because I'm tired of the fps I get in games on this laptop

PC Part Picker List:

Notes:

This is my first time building a PC. Any and all feedback is much obliged. I am assuming that I'll be getting a GPU somewhere near a price of $450.

If you don’t have any existing parts, an 11400 is better because it has integrated graphics. Also changed the power supply to be better and storage to be faster, and added a wifi card since the motherboard I chose didn’t have wifi.

Thanks for the reply! I just had a few questions.

1) Would I need a cpu with integrated graphics if I’m planning on getting the 3060 Ti?

2) I know it doesn’t cost much but would I need a WiFi adapter if I’m planning on using Ethernet only?

Other than these two questions I had I think the other changes as helpful. Thanks for your reply!

1)Technically no, but in reality yes. If you had the 3060ti in hand today you would not need a cpu with integrated graphics, but since they are all out of stock, you need to use integrated graphics until they come in stock
2)There is no need if you are just using ethernet, the only reason I included it was because the motherboard you choose earlier had wifi

I was only planning  on buying the parts if I was able to buy the GPU. I didn’t know that the motherboard I chose had wifi. Thanks for the info!

You can still use the computer as a basic computer that will be fast and snappy using chrome + discord + productivity apps, and just wait for the graphics card.
