G5 vs g24c4

I don't know what to choose between 23,6 inches and 27 inches. what would fit better on my desk? IMG_20210407_145629.thumb.jpg.4347bb099de876d7e12bd9492a3d5db9.jpg(I would like the monitor to be on either the blue or red line). 

Right now I'm trying to choose between the msi optix g24c4 and the samsung odyssey g5. Does the 3000:1 vs 2500:1 matter? Which one is more bang-for-the-buck? 

I don't care about the resolution that much, but it would be great if I could have a 1440p display.
