2 questions about RAM

will a 1333mhz ram work with a motherboard that supports upto 1066mhz?

Probably. In my experience the memory will just be downclocked to 1066Mhz.

Of course there is a small chance it won't work, but that will always be the case with memory. I haven't had bad luck with DDR3 in the past, it usually 'just works'.

Yes.

U-DIMM = Unbuffered DIMM, which you could basically see as "normal memory" (as opposed to SO-DIMM that is laptop memory, or R-DIMM which is reregistered memory).

So i have 2 questions so will a 1333mhz ram work with a motherboard that supports upto 1066mhz? and if the ram is U-DIMM and motherboard has DIMM slot then will the RAM work?\

This is the motherboard Zeb-G41-D3, LGA 775 Socket – Zebronics

This is the RAM Amazon.in: Buy Simmtronics 4GB DDR3 Desktop RAM 1333 MHz (PC 10600) with 3 Year Warranty Online at Low Prices in India | Simmtronics Reviews & Ratings

So will it effect my performance in anyway? i asked cause in motherboards page it said it has 2x DIMM slots so that's why.

Will what specifically affect the performance?
Do you mean having more memory, or it running at 1066Mhz vs. 1333Mhz?

No because motherboard only has DIMM slot and the RAM is U-DIMM will that affect anything? asking this because one of the reviews from amazon said that U-DIMM RAMS don't work with DIMM motherboards.
