Hello all!

Last week I helped one of my friends build a new PC:

  • Ryzen 5600
  • Asus Tuf x570 Plus Wifi
  • Crucial Ballistix RGB 3600
  • Crucial M.2 500gb NVMe
  • Gigabyte 750w 80plus gold
  • NZXT 510
  • GTX 980
  • Windows 10
  • Bios Version 2607 (August 2020)

Since setup we have been having issues where some games (Apex, Warzone, Halo Reach) will all crash the computer with no BSOD (Every-time). We are trying to diagnose the issue but we cannot get into BIOS. The computer will not output anything to the monitor while booting and when we get to Windows we have to unplug & replug the HDMI for anything to show up. Many games work just fine (GTA V, Fallout 76) and Stress testing the CPU & GPU don't help uncover the mystery. All the Q-LEDs come on but it will sometimes get stuck on the VGA & BOOT when rebooting. Event logger just tells us there was an unexpected failure. We tried setting the voltage manually to the CPU (As someone had said it was an issue with this motherboard to have fluctuations in power) but it still crashed.

I suspect it is the Bios that is messed up in some way. It's possible that the graphics card is to blame but I have been using that bad boi for years with no issues.

As always I have attached a picture of our lord and savior, The Linus Face Meme to give this post good luck.
