So this PC was a pre-built but I decided to upgrade the gpu and psu to those above, (also the cooler since stock cooler was awful). Noticed that i had a lot of thermal room for overclocking so I did some research to overclock. The bios aren't great but I went in and followed the video, which suggested to turn off power saving extras, and then run a mild OC on 1.375v. Bios won't let me undervolt so i used the standard voltage (1.415 or 1.425 I believe).

Went to test out the mild oc and windows didn't open. Bios worked fine so tried to open windows a second time still stuck at the screen with just the windows logo (without the dot circle loading animation). So I went back to bios and changed LLC back to auto, same issue, then put the clock back to auto, and started up no problem. Can anyone help me figure out how to get windows to open with the small oc so I can test and then go up from there? My goal is to get around 4.5 maybe 4.8 ghz out of it..

Thanks for any help!

You simply increase the multiplier.

Default speed is 3.5ghz and single core boost is 3.8ghz.

The default vcore should be like 1.25v at 3.5ghz.

1.40v should be good for 4ghz or higher.

FX likes 2 things. Cold and voltage.

If the cpu is near 70c+ at testing, it's too hot.
