Hi all,

Ive had a very strange issue with my pc recently. It will be completely fine for ages, I can play normal (not too intensive games) but as soon as I play something intensive, such as RDR2, i will play for a while and then all of a sudden my pc will completely shut off. I will then only be able to get it to turn back on once ive unplugged it completely and left it for a few seconds. I have no idea if this could be the PSU or my new 3080. If anyone could help that would be amazing. Thanks in advance!

Bought somewhere before or around 2018 i assume ? Replace it, that's known issue. Try to tune down the power limit to reduce crashes in the meantime.

How would i go about tuning down the power limit? Im sending it off for RMA. Do you think theyll provide me with a better unit? Any ideas on their normal turnaround time on rma's? Thank you agian for all the help!

It's possible. You've most likely received pre-2018 version which is very unlucky, if you'll receive post-2018 version or maybe a new rebranded revision - Focus GM that might fix this issue.

Using MSI Afterburner (it's not only for MSI).
