  1. How would i go about tuning down the power limit? Im sending it off for RMA. Do you think theyll provide me with a better unit? Any ideas on their normal turnaround time on rma's? Thank you agian for all the help!
  2. I looked at the reliability monitor and got this: does that help at all?
  3. Its a Seasonic 850w 80+ Gold. I didnt oc the gpu, i only have an oc on my cpu. It did this months ago and then stopped doing it until now. I do have separate cables for each of the 3 connectors
  4. Hi all, Ive had a very strange issue with my pc recently. It will be completely fine for ages, I can play normal (not too intensive games) but as soon as I play something intensive, such as RDR2, i will play for a while and then all of a sudden my pc will completely shut off. I will then only be able to get it to turn back on once ive unplugged it completely and left it for a few seconds. I have no idea if this could be the PSU or my new 3080. If anyone could help that would be amazing. Thanks in advance!
  5. I tried to volt down to 1.35 in the bios and it seems stable. maybe it was ryzen master causing it to go higher.
  6. Hi guys, I oc'ed my 2700x to 4.2 and it seems stable, but it tells me in cpuid that the voltage is 1.5.... Even when i go back to 3.7ghz it stays around 1.4, is this normal? Thanks!
  7. another note, even League of Legends seems to be unable to keep a stable fps, which is an issue i never had before the 3080. Also, when spectating on Apex, I will have 240 fps stable? very weird
  8. Just to clarify, It does go above and below 144 fps, and i think the highest my cores have gone is about 85%. Maybe you are right and its causing a small bottleneck. Would a 5600x be a big upgrade in this case? all frame rates are unlocked and never any vsync. What about the other games? they never use all of my gpu when Heaven benchmark does. same issue? I presume so
  9. It does, Shadow of war has the same, rise of the tomb raider has it too... I should be getting more than 144 fps in apex I feel
  10. Hi all, Im having issues with my 3080 in certain games. I will be playing apex and in menus and while flying in i will have 100% gpu usage but ass soon as I land and go anywhere it hover around 50%. This seems weird. My CPU never hits 100% My specs are Ryzen 2700x 16gb 3000Mhz Ram 3080 Suprim x 850 prime gold plus Let me know if you have any suggestions... Thanks!
  11. I've had a look but I just can't seem to decide. Primary purpose is gaming, and I don't know which out of the 3 would be best. Unless you have any better suggestions?
  12. So I've been looking around a bit more, and would love some advice on these monitors: https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-VG27AQ-Monitor-Compatible-Adaptive-Sync/dp/B07VTPKCLS?th=1 (the one i showed earlier) in comparison to the non ips version which is cheaper: https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-VG27AQ-Monitor-Compatible-Adaptive-Sync/dp/B07VW9ZD6Y?th=1 which would be better? and this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07TTJR48G/ref=emc_b_5_t my confusion lies in the fact that one is curved and way less expensive and i can not figure
  13. So i've looked more into the ASUS TUF monitor, and it seems to tick all the boxes. I have heard however that you may face some motion blur with IPS panels. Would you say this is still prevalent nowadays or would it be better due to the higher refresh rates and g sync?
  14. i think the biggest question I have is, should i consider the 2080ti now or just wait until nvidia decides to release the 30 series? i heard they may be announcing them around June
