Random Black screens

Recently I've been experiencing random black screens where the display drops out (sometimes with and without the "connect/disconnect" sound effects) and then comes back.
There are times where this doesn't happen and times where it is every 40 seconds or so.

I've deep cleaned the PC and done a complete fresh install of windows and it still occurs. I currently have two monitors connected to the graphics card via Display Port, however the issue does not seem to manifest when connected to the HDMI port.

My PC Spec is as follows

Ryzen 5 3600 (Stock)
Corsair LPX 16GB (2x 8GB)
Asus X370-F ROG Strix (latest bios)
EVGA 750W G3
nVidia GTX 1070 8GB Founders Edition

2tb Seagate Barracuda
4tb Seagate Barracuda

 

If anyone has knowledge as to why this happens, I would appreciate comments.

I can rule out one monitor as I use it daily for work on a work issued PC and it does not have any issues.

it may be because the HDMI cord is broken try checking that.
