It worked, god only knows why
Currently only have one stick of ram in there and none of my drives attached except the m2 drives
ill add them one by one later and reboot to see if that somehow is the problem
i also pulled the TPM module in case that was it
EDIT: I think I found the root cause, one of the CPU cooler fans presses up against the first RAM stick and I think this pressure caused random boot errors-AFTER the computer checked for DRAM errors early in the POST cycle
odd that the problem only showed up now after a few month of being like this-must’ve been my moving the computer to a new desk that did me in
