Cool I'll make sure to post my fix tomorrow if you haven't for yours running

It worked, god only knows why

Currently only have one stick of ram in there and none of my drives attached except the m2 drives

ill add them one by one later and reboot to see if that somehow is the problem

i also pulled the TPM module in case that was it

EDIT: I think I found the root cause, one of the CPU cooler fans presses up against the first RAM stick and I think this pressure caused random boot errors-AFTER the computer checked for DRAM errors early in the POST cycle

odd that the problem only showed up now after a few month of being like this-must’ve been my moving the computer to a new desk that did me in

Let’s start with specs

CPU: Ryzen 5 3500

Mobo: Asrock X570m Pro4

RAM: Crucial Ballistix 16GB (2x8)

PSU: Seasonic Focus Plus Platinum

GPU: Zotac GTX 1050

Now for my problem-I built this system about a year ago and it’s been running flawlessly, until now anyways

out of the blue it’s decided to stop posting with no indication what the problem is, occasionally it has booted to desktop and I’ve taken those moments to reset everything to defaults in BIOS and reinstalled windows

the problem persists despite me switching cables and inputs on my monitor-I’ve used my Xbox to test known good HDMI cables and monitor inputs so I know that isn’t the problem

since there are no error lights on(my motherboard has 4) I don’t know what the problem is and have no indication either

Not even a BIOS beeps? Have you try to clear CMOS through removing the battery or using the jumpers?

Yep, I cleared CMOS multiple times by pulling the battery and leaving the whole PC unplugged for a few minutes

no Beeps as I don’t have anything that does that, I have error lights labeled BOOT, CPU, DRAM, VGA none are lit

Does your power light come on and do you see any indication keyboard is on like hitting caps

My guess is fans and all are.on as well, if your monitor is hooked up does it have function that says no video hooked up or something similar , does it appear black but like it's got some backlighting

Yep, my fans spin and the monito reports no signal and then immediately goes to sleep as it’s set to do, it wakes immediately if I turn my Xbox on and switches  to that

Crums, very similar to what my some PC is doing he will be here tomorrow and ill be working on it, some have found new windows update is the issue and have people redo windows and prevent updates, also do you have different option to send out video then the hdmi because it seems to be hdmi related. I will.post back tomorrow if I find the issue on his, it sounds identical  .

I managed to briefly get it to boot an reinstalled windows-so that’s not it unfortunately...and I tend to use DisplayPort instead of HDMI although both suffer from this issue

im currently rebuilding the damn thing, I disconnected everything and am going to try booting with just the CPU, RAM, and GPU installed

ill let you know if it works
