Replacing Drive in SHR-2

I have a drive failed in my Synology, when i try to install a replacement drive its only giving me the hot swat option. The add drive option is greyed out, any reason why that is?

The "Add Drive" option is for adding an additional drive to the array. You want the "Repair" option.

 

Remove the dead drive (if you haven't already), replace it with the new one (which has to be the same size or larger), and then go to Storage Pool -> Action -> Repair
