Why did you put a slash between sata & peripheral? Also, what are the best slots to plug into for optimal wire management?

Okay but which one of the two? There's a 3 SATA and a 4 SATA.

The SATA cables are designed for a rack of drives, so you can run just one cable up and connect each in a chain. You would traditionally use the 3 if you had three drives to connect or the 4 if you had 4 drives. Since you have just one drive, it hardly matters which you use.

Yea, only one. I saw a guy on youtube plug in 2 CPU cables, what for?

For CPU (on the motherboard) there is 20+4-pin and 4+4-pin connectors, as @Skiiwee29 mentioned. They are let's say required to power mainly CPU and motherboard.

Wait, I'm confused. So I need 2x 4+4 CPU or still only 1x? Skiiwee said 1x.

yeah, you need one 24-pin and one 8-pin for the CPU and MoBo

edited -  @flickofdawrist ... oh, this one has 4-pin also for CPU in addition of the 8-pin (4+4 EPS)

So you need 24-pin, 8-pin EPS and 4-pin EPS to the mobo.

The 24-pin cable feels kinda rigid, is it fine if I force it a bit to go through here?image.png.530af8b9d5752c099b348d6184be6842.png

Are they used for the CPU power consumption? If so, how can you know how much they can do?

They both provide power for the cpu. The 8 pin on it's own provides enough though. You would only need the extra 4 pin for extreme overclocking i.e Liquid Nitrogen. It won't do any harm to have it plugged in, but it won't make any difference.

I might take it out then. It's a 4+4 so I had to break it in half and it looks a bit weird because the other half just hangs.
