its fine, wont hurt anything since its on conductive. If it bothers you visually, just take a lint free rag with some Isoproyl alcohol and gently remove the paste.

Be careful using anything too rough or abrasive, as those small SMD resistors(?) can be easily dislodged if you're too rough.

 

If you have any isopropyl alcohol you could probably just wet a corner of paper towel with it and then gently dab the motherboard with it to clean it up. Otherwise just a tissue and gently wipe it.
