HD5870 Overclocking issue

So I downloaded MSi Afterburner (Yes, the latest version...) and I tried OC'ing my good olde HD5870. I tried just upping by 5 at a time, but there's this issue; I have two screens (1680x1050 & 1280x1024) and the primary is fine, but the 18" keeps flickering and bugging out whenever I OC the GPU.

I know ATi's drivers are famously bad and dual screens of different resolutions probably makes it even worse, not to mention the fact that it only has 1GB of RAM to support them. But if anyone has a solution to the problem, it would be greatly appreciated, as OC'ing this card might be the only way for me not to have to get a new card (Since it's really starting to lag even in basic games such as LoL (Dropping to 40fps at times)).
