Hi all, so about 30 mins ago i restarted my pc, and got the error message “Reboot and select proper boot device”, so i changed the boot order and tried to boot from my ssd from BIOS. That didn’t work so i downloaded minitool partition wizard and rebuilt the MBR. I went to the file recovery section of the software and i could see all my files were there, but for some reason it won’t boot. I’d appreciate any help at all and if you need any more details on what i have done already i can tell you!

I'm not sure about the problem but try disconnecting all the drives except the SSD with windows and try clearing your CMOS.....let me know if that works for you....

Ryzen 5 2400G -B450M DS3H Motherboard (Gigabyte) - 16GB RAM (CL 16, 3000MHz) - 240GB SSD (Kingston) - 1TB HDD(Seagate) - 450W PSU (Corsair)

Try updating the BIOS (if a newer version is available) or re-installing the current version and see if that helps.......

Do you have a boot override menu? Sometimes Windows will have a separate entry in the list instead of the disk itself. Try booting to both or any other entries and see if they work.

Did you disconnect a drive between the restart? Did a Windows update transpire? There's a number of things that can cause this.

M.2 or SATA? Did you try a different cable? SATA cables fail after being bent so many times.
