Computer randomly presses "-" key constantly

So my computer will randomly do this annoying thing where it will hold down the "-" key until i hard restart it. I've tried swapping the keyboard, swapping the mouse, turning the mouse/keybaord on and off, and unplugging them. Nothing fixes this until I hard reboot my computer. Does anyone know how to fix this?

 

Computer:

• MSI 550 itx
• 3800x
• 3070
• Keyboard: logitech g935 tkl
• Mouse: razer naga pro

This is the answer that I know is right but haven't accepted yet.

boot into safe mode and see if it occurs there (to test if it's hardware or what)

 

though if it's random then idk how you would test it to make sure it's not happening there

 

possibility of someone pranking you?

Its so random it only happens like once every 3-5 days. I'm just stumped since the issue persists across keyboards from different manufacturers. 

 

Hopefully its not a prank, but there are no extra keyboards hooked up to my pc so IDK how they would even do that.

 

I'm going to reinstall windows and hope that fixes it.

ask around before you do reformat, because no one wants to reformat unless necessary

 

wireless and BT keyboard is a possibility
