First Founders Edition GPU

MightyMishka

What was the first series with GeForce Founders Edition GPUs? If it's older than the GTX 900 series, can you post pics? Thanks.

Edit: I did some more searching and fugured out that the first GeForce series with founders edition or reference edition in the founders edition style is the GTX 600 series with a single fan in the middle.

Edit: Posted wrong information.

I do believe it was the 1000 series, before then they were just called "reference" cards.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

No, there were 900 series fe cards, and I think I've seen pics from earlier series, I'm mostly wondering how early those pics were from.

Those were not 'Founder's Edition' cards.

That was just the nVidia reference PCB and GPU cooler.

If you consider that as 'Founder's Edition' then that goes back to even the GTX 480...
