GUYS A WINDOWS DEFENDER PROBLEM PLS HELP

windows defender eats up a lot of ram even when it is not scanning for is real time protection on why is this happening and is there a fix for i have only 8gb of ram and need to too blender and cry engine so pls help

Have you tried running a full system scan it could be your computer is infected?

Well. mine is 150 idle, 300mb is not a lot.

yes i did nothing it just runs and finishes

it is once you you realize that it 9% of my total ram avalible according to task manager

From my calculations 300 mb is about 3.66%

Around 300MB is its normal footprint.

Right now it is using only 105mb

This might seem dumb, but did you restart your computer? A lot of people tend to leave their computer just running, and then things like these can build up. If that doesn't work, try scanning for any potential malware - download Malwarebytes.
