Only thing that is significantly better is liquid metal BUT that is conductive and you can kill your device if you are not extremely careful. I would get a thermal paste like MX4 or MX5.

my gaming cpu gpu temps are 99 and 92, also the laptop still has factory paste do you think it will lower the temps? Also do you think if its on factory paste i have to repaste anyway?

MX-4 is pretty good. Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut even a bit better. Best possible thermal conductivity you will get with a liquid metal TIM like Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut, but spreading that on a bare die must be done with a lot of care.

Which laptop exactly do you have? If it is not a laptop that is intended to be gamed on then the temperatures that you are seeing are quite normal. Non-gaming laptops are not intended to be gamed on. Their thermal solution (fan + heatsink) simply can't cope with the heat that is produced.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 - 3900x @ 4.4GHz with a Custom Loop | MBO: ASUS Crosshair VI Extreme | RAM: 4x4GB Apacer 2666MHz overclocked to 3933MHz with OCZ Reaper HPC Heatsinks | GPU: PowerColor Red Devil 6900XT | SSDs: Intel 660P 512GB SSD and Intel 660P 1TB SSD | HDD: 2x WD Black 6TB and Seagate Backup Plus 8TB External Drive | PSU: Corsair RM1000i | Case: Cooler Master C700P Black Edition | Build Log: here

Yeah, kind of not really intended to be gamed on. That is an office laptop, a powerful one, but still only intended to be used in a "office environment."

yeah bro but are the temps normal? Performance isnt dropping on 99 but i am just a bit worried that something might get damaged, its got 99 all the time but highest is 99

Define normal.

Are these temperatures normal for a laptop that was not intended to be gamed on - certainly yes.

Are these temperatures too high and will they damage something? Once again - yes they are too high and yes running the laptop like this will probably end up damaging something. Don't expect it to die tomorrow, but the silicon will degrade over time. Considering that laptops are enclosed units and many things like the CPU is built into the motherboard, that also is probably getting quite hot if bot the CPU and GPU are running above 90C.

by normal i mean shall i continue using it like that or not and will Arctic MX4 help reduce the temperature? its on factory paste whic is 5 years old
