The first two create a network but i cant connect. I cant even see it in the Xiaomi Wifi app.

The TPLINK one is already starting to randomly either turn off the wifi or it wont connect to my main router.

Are they really “dying” or are they just not working as they should? “Dying” would imply a hardware failure, but replacing them would solve that problem. Unless you’re unlucky enough to have bad electrical circuitry.

While there is a possiblity of having hardware failure, what you’re likely experiencing is the problem of WiFi Repeaters. They simply don’t work as they are advertised!

WiFi Repeaters require a decent-enough signal to “repeat” if they are going to work properly. If, at a given distance from the primary wireless signal, they only detect a weak signal, they will repeat this weak signal at the same or less speed than that of the primary AP. Allowing a repeater to repeat another repeater’s poor signal is not going to work well. That’s because repeaters work at half-duplex speeds; the same antenna communicating with the primary WiFi radio is also communicating with wireless clients.

The only solution to repeaters is not to use repeaters at all.

My wifi repeaters keep dying and I have no idea why. It's always the same problem. First it keeps disconnecting from my main router. After a few days the LEDs light up, I can see the network but I can't connect. First one died after a year and a half, second one 10 months and the last one lasted only a month. Could it be an electric issue?
