So I got my PC built, except for the RAM, and when I hit the power it turns on the fans, but the button won't power it off when I hit the button. Is this because I don't have RAM yet? Or is it something I should be worried about. (I can turn it off with the PSU switch.) Its fine if this is just a problem with the motherboard, as I am fine with going to shut it down by going to the Windows icon.

The power button typically only works to shut down the PC after a successful boot. You probably need to hold the power button in order for it to force shut down.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

If you don't have ram, the only way to power down is to hold the power button or to flip the PSU switch.

When you install ram, it will work normally.

Main: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D, Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti, 16 GB 4400 MHz DDR4 Linux - Fedora
