I built a pc and everything works fine, but every few minutes whole rig shakes. It's not like constant trembling, but more like a sudden shudder, like a quick shift. Nothing happens as far as performance or and there's no flickering on the screen or anything like that, just a quick shake. The only thing I could think of was that I did not set one of the motherboard's standoffs due to the case, all else was pretty standard.

Any thoughts?

Sounds to me like outside forces that has nothing to do with the computer.  It’s interesting that the computer is being affected while nothing else has before.  Perhaps other things have and it just wasn’t noticed.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
