Solution to randomly freezing pc

My pc sometimes freezes and i tried to fix it in many ways but none helped. A few days ago i changed some settings and it seemed to work for some time but it freezed again today. I think the problem is the lamp i have plugged into my pc. When i turn my pc off the lamp still is on, i can turn it off and back on as many times as i want. I think the power drawn from it interfears with the components and so freezes the pc even tho i have a 850w psu. Is this the problem or do i need to search furder.
