Hi.

 

I am currently planning to upgrade a pc i found in my basement, it's still pretty bad, but I'm considering upgrading the cpu, the one that's currently on the pc is a core 2 duo e7500, i want to upgrade to an lga 775 modified Xeon, I have to choose between the Intel xeon x5460 or e5450, which one should I choose?, I'm pretty new to this, so any help would be appreciated, thank you

Only difference between those two are clock. X5460 has 3.17 and x 5450 has 3GHz. I would pick X5460, because every clock counts. And both are 120W so u need good cooling
