Hi everyone,

Im looking to change things up a bit and upgrade my PC/ set up, I’ve not really got a budget but I don’t want to spend stupid money though. What would you upgrade from my pc/set up?

My current PC build at the moment is:

ASUS TUF B450 plus

Ryzen 5 3600

RTX 3060ti

16gb of 2400mhz Corsair vengeance

1tb hard drive

240gb ssd

850 watt Corsair psu

Set up:

Alienware Aw2518hf

Logitech g pro wireless mouse

razer black widow keyboard

corsair HS70 SE wireless headset

Im mainly thinking the Ram needs to be upgraded but anything else you would change up?

Faster RAM would be good since you're running Ryzen.

What are your CPU and GPU usages while gaming? Are you hitting your target refresh rate with desired graphics settings?

If yes, then I wouldn't upgrade anything else. If not, then I'd upgrade where the bottleneck is.

Be sure to QUOTE or TAG me in your reply so I see it!

CPU and GPU usage is normally fairly even. most of the time I get my desired FPS and normally play on highest graphics settings, only game I would like more FPS is Cold War but that’s a fairly demanding game I get like 150-165fps average which is a little lower than I’d like but I think that may be down to the ram?

It certainly could be. Since I'd recommend upgrade RAM regardless see how the performance is once that's done. Then you can evaluate if more expensive upgrades are needed (or if you're happy with what that gives you).

Ok great I’ll do that, only other thing I want to try would be a 1440p monitor but not sure what performance would be like at 1440p
