I have a computer and the sd card slot stopped working I bought a converter which converted it to USB and that broke (after a few years.) Does anyone have any reccomentsas about which one to buy it needs to have a long wire as it needs to sit on my desk and I like in the UK?

I bought the North America version of this one in December of 2018. I dunno what there is to say about it. Stuff plugged into it doesn't feel slow. I has yet to break. I haven't used the QC function of it though.

Buy them separately, have you use the USB header on the motherboard to add more USB ports?'

I suggest getting a USB header instead of using a hub.
