I've been looking to find why my games are randomly crashing, and i looked in control panel to and i clicked on "view reliably history" and it showed every time my games or a program crashed. so i clicked on the most recent one and it said hardware error. i looked some of it up on google and it brought me to a Microsoft forum post from a few years ago, the guy said at the end he replaced his gpu and it worked fine. here is what i saw: 

any help on what this means is greatly appreciated.

could be wattage , ram size , or just the compatibility of your game

Live Kernel Event means the core of Windows stopped working is all.  It doesn't point to any device specifically.

 

You need to look for a cause or pattern.  High load?  Certain game?  Hitting the X and 7 keys at the same time?  Whatever.

 

Full specs help but it's more of finding the specific set of circumstances to cause the crash.

cpu- ryzen 5 5600x

gpu- evga 1660 sc ultra (until i can buy a 3060 or 3060 ti)

memory-16gb of g.skill ddr 3600
