4130 runs hot?

Wondering if these temperatures are normal for the Intel i3-4130 while using a Noctua NH-L9i at 1800 RPM or "normal" on motherboard BIOS settings. I'm getting around 27-40 Degrees idle, jumps around like crazy & in gaming the highest I hit was 53 degrees Celsius of course.

My hard drive gets hotter than your cpu on a daily basis. BTW temps aren't that bad.

Idle temp is kind of high but that can be down to case airflow and ambient temps, your load temp is well within the temp range so you've got nothing to worry about.

Only worry if it gets above 90

Max is 72 on this CPU I believe.

I'm just making sure that sounds about right, like the temps I should be getting with that cooler with that RPM.

Haswell runs pretty hot and there's not much you can do. 53c is fine and generally Haswell chips are safe to about 85c
