Hey guys, I have a few questions regarding three different Items.

*First: Asus UX302LA

I was wondering if anyone has had this laptop previously or currently has it.

1) Is it a good laptop

2) Have you swapped the HDD for an SSD. If so, was it difficult?

3) Have you swapped the Ram for bigger Ram. If so, was it difficult.

Second: Moto G

I've been looking for new phones for my parents & was wondering whether these are the best option for them out there. They have never used a smart phone, but that shouldn't be a problem.

1) I was wondering if it's better to get a phone from T-mobile directly (not the moto G a different phone) or get this unlocked phone.

2) What kind of SIM card is needed for the phone (Couldn't find anything online)?

3) For T-mobile I get the US GSM version Correct?

For both the Moto G & Nexus 5 I've been having trouble finding out the warranty policies for the two phones. It basically comes down to ordering phones from T-mobile & getting 1 year warranty vs buying it from Google play (or motorola for the moto G). I'm just nervous my parents would drop the phone, what would be the best option to cover these issues?

Thank you for any help!

For the laptop, I don't own it, but:

1. That looks like a pretty good laptop for the price.

2/3. For upgrades, take a look at these videos and judge for your self.

As for the Moto G, I do think it is a good option for a first smartphone.

1. Do you want to go prepaid or on contract? If you want prepaid, unlocked moto G is the way to go.

2.  Micro SIM

3. Yes, you want the US GSM version.

Off contract, the Moto G has its warranty through Motorola. No matter how you buy the phone, the warranty wont cover accidental damage unless you buy a accidental damage plan.

Hope this helps!

Thanks a bunch, clear up most to all of it. We are with T-mobile so not sure what to call it (no contract, but not prepaid either).
