Couple of days ago i made  a topic about what parts I should get, and after getting some suggestions, both here and from friends, I'm thinking of this:

GPU: MSI N750Ti
CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 760K
RAM: A-DATA 8 GB DDR3-1600
PSU: Corsair CX500M
MotherBoard: GIGABYTE GA-F2A88X-D3H
Case: Corsair Carbide 200r window
Harddrive: Seagate Barracuda 1 TB

Is this compatible? And do you have suggestions, maybe change something?

BTW that motherboard was chosen pretty quickly so it might be shitty but i dont know any better;P

Thanks:)

My build is similar. I took the same mobo as yours but the micro-atx version. For the gpu, I went with an r9 270x because it was cheap but the 750 ti is great choice too. IMO, the r7 265 is a better option if you still have some spare watts in your PSU left. it performs around 10-20% better than the 750ti (according to some reviews) but uses more watts.

I'd recommend you to get an aftermarket cooler.... The 760k is a CPU known for being hot*

Hm it may be a dumb question, but err, can i upgrade the stock cooler to a better one in the future, and 1 more question i forgot about when chosing parts, do i buy thermal paste? or is it in the cpu  box;P

thermal paste comes with stock cooler .

you can upgrade the stock cooler to and aftermarket cooling system in the future.

The motherboard is great.

I'd probably go with a smaller psu, a r9 270, possible a 740/750K, matx motherboard, N200, and get the aftermarket cooler early as well.

Hmm, one of the reasons i chose the 750ti, is because i saw this video(slicks part:P, at around 3:00)

So what you guys are sayin is r9 270x > 750ti (Both with the athlon 760k)? Btw ZanCrow, you mentioned that the r7 265 has a better performance, did you mean the r9 270x? because in the video the 750ti performs better than the r7 265.

270x > 270 > 265 > 660 > 650 Ti BOOST > 750 Ti

The 270x and 265 are respectively 7870 and 7850 rebrands.

Another thing, I still don't really know what motherboard is best for me, this is the list of the ones possible:

A mATX is better maybe?

The motherboard has no effect on performance. If you don't need any special features, pretty much any will do.

Alright,

Thank all of you for your help,

I will be replacing the 750Ti with the r9 270, as the 270x is a bit too expensive.

One more thing:

I noticed there is also a Sapphire and asus version of the 270(I chose msi)

Is there a difference? Is one better than the other.

Oh and will i be needing a greater psu for the 270?

There's very little difference between the different versions. Just get whichever is cheapest or the one you like the most.

I recommended going with a smaller psu to save on money to use elsewhere. A cx430 will do.
