RAM speed issue

Iphone5cisthebest

I have a Z490 board on an intel core i5-10400, yes I know Z and non k, but I got a good deal on it.

I used XMP on my 3000mhz ram kit, and I caps out at 2933Mhz, but I can’t increase the voltage or speed or boot fails, is it the non-K cpu preventing manual overclock more than the rated spec? The voltage was 1.244 or 1.246 volts (increasing to 1.3 volts) and I want to clock it at 3200 or 3600Mhz, motherboard supports 4600Mhz.

What’s the issue?

If you haven't updated your bios then I'd try that.  Maybe adjust it manually for 3000 with the proper timings.

Are your ram sticks in a2 and b2?
