Storage solutions for desktops

Evening all, 

 

I've just ventured into the PC building world and wanted someone's opinion on storage solutions for my PC. 

 

I've currently opted to run a 2TB Samsung 970 Evo SSD in my m.2 slot.

 

This is the only storage drive I have. Is it necessary to have a SATA SSD/HDD as well or can I just run with what I have already?

You can use it as your only drive. I don't see a reason to get anouther drive unless you need more storage.
