Hiccup with GPU/Drivers?

I don't recall noticing this with games other than swtor but ever since I replaced my old gpu with a MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti I've been seen some non invasive, but annoying errors that crop up. I used DDU, and I'm pretty sure I have the most stable drivers, I have a feeling this is just a "SOL" kind of moment between swtor and my GPU. I had nuanced errors with my old radeon gpu and swtor that I couldn't see my char if I turned on the "Sound while shrunk" option. which made the game unplayable that way. Anyway; the error I get is my background turns balck and I have to highlight my desktop to get my BG photo back. If it works at all. Any help would be great. Thanks guys.
