Static Pressure Fans

GingerBill

Hey guys,

recenetly got some new Arctic PWM fans, static pressure ones. I'm just wondering if it would be worth running them at a lower speed to my old airflow fans. I've seen around some sites that you are able to run them slower to avoid the noise they make.

Thanks in advance.

Arctic P12s are very good fans for their price...If the noise bothers you, slow them.  Go into your BIOS and adjust the fan curve below the threshold of annoying. Now, on some batches, you can encounter some type of whining/weird noise ~900-1000RPM. Test it yourself if you really care, but that's pretty slow anyways in regards to their entire PWM range.

More misused marketing terms.  It's a fan.
