YouTube is slow and acting weird on my iPhone 7

When i go on the YouTube app on my phone it is very slow to load the videos and when I click on the channel button it says it failed?

That's because YouTube is currently down at the moment. Nothing's wrong with your phone or the YouTube app itself.

I don't have a crystal ball, and I don't work at YouTube. No clue.
