Advice on upgrade

Hello guys
I'm planing to upgrade my PC with :
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 & B450M PRO-VDH MAX.
Currently i am having memory speed 1200.0 MHz (DDR4-2400 / PC4-19200) - 16GB. I'm using my PC for casual gaming, movies and internet surfing. Is the ram gonna be a big bottleneck for the cpu ? Im trying not to spent much on upgrades cuz im not hardcore on it.

You can switch that board to a B450-A from MSI. Processor choice is good.

And yes, that RAM will bottleneck you. Not just your CPU, but your whole PC. You can get faster memory, like a 2x8GB CL16 Crucial Ballistix kit with a memory speed of 3200MHz.

as long as there are two sticks of ram running in dual channnel, the ram won't bottleneck you much. sure, going to 3200mhz will improve your cpu's perfromance by 10-15%, but you can live without.
