The stock fans are designed similarly to legendary gentle typhoons. Some people say they are a bit noisy. If you feel like they are noisy, the NF-F12s are made for static pressure situations.

i would get noctua fans its i hate the color scheme of them..

Don't bother, they aren't the best fans. You can get Gentle Typhoon which are better in terms of air flow, looks, and silence.

Some of the reasons I would change the fans would be if I didn't like the color scheme or they were too loud. If you find that to be something you are feeling with them get different fans.

Well i have a quick question for everyone..

I want to know what kind of fans you would use on the h220 or if you would just keep the stock fans...

since the gentle typhoon is no longer manufactured, what vendors have is

all they will have/get. the Swiftech helix (H220 fan) is a clone of the 1850.

if not satisfied of the helix, then look to a high static low decibel fan.

the Akasa/Rosewill are 1300 @ 16dbA and 2.64mm/h20, just for knowledge.

I have the H220 and actually put the fans that came on it on my wifes Hyper 212 Evo and put NF-F12 fans on that I run at about 950rpm's and it keeps my i5 2500k nice and cool at 4.3ghz
